Thai chili basil balls – Recipe

Today’s delicious recipe brought to you from the exquisite mind of yours truly!


500g minced chicken breast
30ml Thai fish sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
Small handful basil leaves
One finely chopped birdseye chilli
Squirt of honey optional
Dollop coconut oil for frying

Mix all ingredients in a big bowl, then heat coconut oil in a shallow pan. Place small dollops of chicken mixture around pan, 4 – 5 at a time. Flatten into patties.

Fry until golden brown on each side and cooked through.

Add an extra chilli if you like it spicy!

Delicious with a shredded cucumber and lime juice salad, nuoc Cham dipping sauce, or on their own as a snack!
